RT @GlobalHigherEd: Visualizing the #MOOC debate/juggernaut on Twitter (8-14 March 2013) #MOOCs http://t.co/kWyKUXWQ6o
Since I have been blogging a lot about MOOCs and global higher education lately, and since this visualization is just too good to resist, I am not only retweeting it but reposting it as well.
Kris Olds, Professor and Chair of the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is the co-editor of @GlobalHigherEd. His current research focuses on the global geopolitics and geoeconomics of higher education and research.
In early 2014, he will teach, together with Susan L. Roberts of the University of Bristol, a Coursera MOOC on “Globalizing Higher Education and Research for the ‘Knowledge Economy:’”
This course is designed to examine an array of issues related to the globalization of higher education and research. The main objective of the course is to enable students to better understand how and why universities are engaged in the globalization process, as well as what the key implications of this development process are.
